Seller Terms

These Seller Terms supplement our Terms of Service and apply specifically to users who offer services (create task listings) on Anylancer. By publishing a task listing, you agree to these Seller Terms in addition to all other platform policies.
1. Becoming a Seller
1.1 Eligibility
Any registered Anylancer user may become a seller by creating their first task listing. There is no separate application. However, you must:
- Meet all eligibility requirements in our Terms of Service 2
- Have a complete and accurate profile
- Comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction
1.2 Independent Contractor Status
As a seller, you are an independent contractor, not an employee of Anylancer. You are responsible for your own business operations, taxes, licenses, and compliance. Anylancer does not provide benefits, insurance, or tax withholding.
2. Task Listings
2.1 Listing Requirements
All task listings must:
- Accurately describe the service you will provide
- Include clear deliverables for each pricing tier (Basic, Standard, Premium)
- Set realistic delivery timeframes
- Use original images and descriptions (no copied content from other platforms)
- Comply with our Acceptable Use Policy
2.2 Approval Process
New task listings are subject to review by the Anylancer team. We may approve, reject, or request modifications. Listings that violate our policies will be rejected with an explanation. Approved listings appear in search results and marketplace browsing.
2.3 Task Management
- You may pause your listings at any time (existing orders are not affected)
- You may edit listings, but significant changes may trigger re-review
- Inactive listings (no orders for extended periods) may be deprioritized in search
3. Order Fulfillment
3.1 Seller Obligations
When you receive an order, you must:
- Deliver work that matches the listing description and purchased tier
- Complete the order within the delivery timeframe
- Respond to buyer messages within a reasonable timeframe
- Provide revisions as included in the purchased package
- Deliver only through the platform (not via external file sharing)
3.2 Late Delivery
If you cannot deliver within the stated timeframe, communicate with the buyer proactively. Repeated late deliveries negatively affect your seller level and may trigger enforcement actions.
3.3 Order Cancellation
Sellers may cancel orders before delivery when necessary. When a seller cancels, the buyer receives a full refund to their wallet. However, cancellations directly impact your order completion rate, which is a key factor in your seller level evaluation. Excessive cancellations will result in level downgrades and reduced marketplace visibility.
If you must cancel, do so as early as possible and communicate clearly with the buyer through the order messaging system. The cancellation reason is logged for audit purposes.
4. Seller Levels
Anylancer operates a tiered seller level system that reflects your performance and reliability. Levels are evaluated based on:
- Completed orders — total number of successfully completed orders
- Order completion rate — percentage of orders completed vs. cancelled (minimum thresholds: Level 1: 80%, Level 2: 85%, Top Rated: 90%)
- Customer satisfaction — average rating from buyer reviews
- Account tenure — how long you have been an active seller
- Account standing — no active warnings or suspensions
Higher levels unlock benefits such as increased visibility in search, more task slots, and badge recognition on your profile. Levels are reviewed automatically after each order completion or cancellation, and may be adjusted up or down based on your current metrics.
5. Earnings & Payments
5.1 Commission
Anylancer retains a 15% commission from each completed order. See our Payment Terms for detailed fee breakdowns and examples.
5.2 Clearance Period
Earnings enter a 14-day clearance period after order completion. During clearance, funds are held to allow for disputes. After clearance, funds move to your available balance.
5.3 Withdrawals
Available earnings can be withdrawn per our Payment Terms. Minimum withdrawal: $10. Withdrawals are limited to one (1) request per calendar day. Withdrawal requests are final and cannot be cancelled once submitted.
6. Content & Intellectual Property
6.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of the content you create for your listings (descriptions, images, portfolio). By posting on Anylancer, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display and distribute that content as necessary to operate the platform.
6.2 Delivered Work
Upon full payment and clearance, the buyer receives full commercial use rights to the delivered work as described in Terms of Service 12. You may retain portfolio rights unless the buyer purchased exclusive rights.
6.3 Original Work Requirement
All deliverables must be original or properly licensed. Delivering plagiarized, stolen, or copyright-infringing content will result in enforcement action and may expose you to legal liability. See our DMCA Policy.
7. Compliance
- You must comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction
- You must not offer prohibited services (see Acceptable Use Policy)
- You must follow our Community Standards
- You must maintain professional conduct in all buyer interactions
- You must not attempt to take transactions off-platform
8. Account Suspension & Termination
8.1 Enforcement
Violations of these Seller Terms may result in enforcement actions as described in Terms of Service 14, including warnings, listing removal, temporary suspension, or permanent ban.
8.2 Effect on Earnings
- Cleared earnings remain accessible for withdrawal after suspension/ban (unless related to fraud)
- Uncleared earnings may be frozen pending review
- Earnings from fraudulent orders will be reversed
8.3 Voluntary Deactivation
You may stop selling at any time by pausing or deleting your task listings. You must fulfill all active orders before deactivating. Your seller profile and reviews will remain visible unless you delete your account entirely.
