Managing your account settings, security, and privacy controls.

Profile Settings

Go to Settings → Profile to manage:

  • Display Name — Your public name visible to other users
  • Username — Your unique URL handle (@username)
  • Profile Photo — Upload or update your avatar
  • Bio — A brief description of yourself
  • Skills, Languages, Country — Help buyers find you
  • Education, Experience, Certifications — Build professional credibility
  • Social Links — Connect your professional profiles

Changing Your Password

  1. Go to Settings → Profile
  2. Scroll to the Password section
  3. Enter your current password
  4. Enter and confirm your new password (minimum 8 characters)
  5. Click Save

If you've forgotten your password, use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page to receive a reset email.

Privacy Settings

Control what information is visible on your public profile:

  • Profile visibility — Your profile is public when you have active task listings
  • Online status — Toggle whether others can see when you're online
  • Email privacy — Your email is never publicly displayed

Identity Verification

Verified accounts receive a trust badge. To get verified:

  1. Go to Settings → Identity Verification
  2. Upload a government-issued ID (passport, national ID, or driver's license)
  3. Our team reviews submissions manually (usually within 1-3 business days)
  4. Once approved, the verification badge appears on your profile

Your ID documents are stored securely and only accessible to authorized administrators. See our Privacy Policy §1.2 for details.

Account Security Tips

  • Use a strong, unique password — at least 8 characters with a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols
  • Never share your password with anyone, including Anylancer staff
  • Don't share login credentials or personal information in chat messages
  • Watch for phishing attempts — Anylancer will never ask for your password by email
  • Log out from shared or public computers
  • Report suspicious activity immediately to our support team

Deleting Your Account

You can delete your account from Settings → Profile → Delete Account. Before deleting, please note:

  • All active orders must be completed or cancelled first
  • Withdraw any remaining wallet balance before deletion
  • Your profile, listings, and reviews will be permanently removed
  • This action is irreversible
  • We retain certain data as required by law (see Privacy Policy §6)
